HELLO :)

A little about me, my camera, and the long, winding road that led us both here.

Fascinated by people and fueled by conversation, I’ve always been a mile-a-minute talker with a laugh to match. My academic background in Humanities, VisCom, and business provides the structure, but the elixir that truly shapes me is being a practitioner of classical Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, my training in tabla, Carnatic and devotional singing; it is through them that I absorb the underlying groove of any environment.

I’ve since traded my brushes and sculpting tools for a camera, yet I bring that same hands-on energy to my photography - freezing the heartbeat of a story exactly when the rhythm feels right.

But my journey wasn't always a straight line.

Eleven years ago, if you looked at my life from the outside, everything looked picture-perfect. I had a stable job as a marketing consultant and the kind of success that was easily quantified on a spreadsheet. My days were packed with client calls solving other people's marketing and business needs - a routine that felt fulfilling until the inner dissonance became impossible to ignore. Amidst that growing void, photography emerged as a weekend passion, eventually becoming the only anchor that made me feel deeply alive.

The realization hit me in bits and blobs, then all at once: I was spending the best hours of my life building someone else's dream.

It took many a 95mph bouncer without a helmet to flip the script inside out, and a resignation from a predictable career to accept the invitation of life to build a creative one from the ground up.

Within this period of intentional seclusion from the world and simple sitting with life, I finally tasted inclusion. I reached a profound, clarifying moment that gave me the courage to write a new reality where I stopped spectating and started building.

As I walked this path, I found that the very dimensions I feared: the uncertainty, silence, the lack of a roadmap, and loss of a steady identity - were the fertile soil needed for true expression to take root.

Today, photography is an extension of my spiritual foundation - where I fuel my intuition for life’s subtle details that often go overlooked.

By experiencing life as life itself and integrating deeply intimate pre-shoot rituals, I create a space with no cues, preparation or external stimuli - just us.

Under the compassionate gaze and guidance of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, I gradually recognized that I am - and have always been whole, perfect and complete. By embracing this state of conscious living, I stopped merely "taking pictures" and began witnessing the Divine calling the shots in everyone, in every frame.

To me, photography is a way to exalt life and help you see the beauty that has been there all along. This is the essence of my work: to be the 'eye' that captures and dissolves the 'I'.

Transmuting my years 'in the work' into a life 'in the love', my mission is to show you the version of yourself you’ve been longing to meet.

My sincere promise is that after you’ve seen yourself in this new light and felt the fullness of our session, you won’t need me to show it to you again. You will carry that inner stillness forward, letting our photographs remain not as a crutch, but as a mirror to the day you truly saw that you, too, are a finished masterpiece.

I am constantly moved by how this shared circle honors the divine DNA within us, helping us find our pause to witness beauty in everyday moments, breathe lighter / sleep deeper and document life more intentionally.

From grandparents to big joint families, individuals in a partnership to visionaries - everyone joyfully drops their roles and prejudices to reconnect to that part of them that is already free. Many have expressed that in this space, they feel finally known and understood in the truest sense for the first time.

In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson : "To even know one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded".

If you would like to do life with me, explore more of this cheeky 'dolce far niente' feeling through our sessions together - which we always, inevitably, deliberately and beautifully sign off with chai - then there's nothing left to do but hop along!
